BLACK OR WHITE

This year is tough, the most difficult one out of all school years obviously. By far I have no idea of what my future occupation will be or where I am going to University. To be honest, it freaks me out, I cant imagine my life after school graduation. Why can't decisions be made by themselves?! I feel like there are at least 3 people inside me who wants to do almost opposite things. It seems like I'm a big of dreamer too and I believe that one person can be extremely good in multi-tasking, so I'm practicing) Pictures of one part of me, model stuff.

Vogue's FASHION NIGHT OUT '13

HI, blogger!

I've been very busy these two month all because of my studying projects. You can mention in my 5 As Ever note it's all about work, work, work... So, I didn't even have time to share some events that I visited since the beginning of fall.

Starting with annual Vogue's Fashion Nights Out all over the world and the newest and bigger than ever Vogue's September Issue, fashion year has began. I believe Moscow's Night Out was one of the first happened this year. 4th of Sept. we haven't even thought of opening our senior students books, but we were ready to go on a fashion event expecting something cool. By "we" I mean me and my friend/popular blogger okovow.blogspot.ru. In Moscow FNO happens in different locations around the city center, so you either need to run fast or choose only one place to visit because it's too crowded everywhere. We were stupidly trying to complete the first option hurting legs from heels. Nobody said it'd be easy. Three most fashionable department stores (GUM, TSUM, Moscow Gallery) were close to each other, so we ran from one to another facing long lines of crazy people waiting to get free picture of whatever it is as long as it's free. Luckily at the GUM we found very cool photobooth at the DNKY shop and had fun taking silly pictures) Of course, there were lots of kinda famous local celebrities, It-girls, models... still impression of the event for me was ruined by huge crowd, too much free stuff that you have no idea of carrying with you, air too stiffed with the parfumes advertisements. These are just minor downs yet because of them you cant stay longer at the party even if you want to. However, the real pleasure was when we get out to a separate Tommy Hilfiger shop. It was calmer, nice music, good food and we were shot for a polaroid card. My first ever polaroid, it's so sweet). What I have a strong intention to do is to travel to other fashion capitals for the next maybe FNO, I think NYC is right perfect for this. I'm more than sure that the difference should'n even been mentioned. Fashion's Night Out in Moscow looks like another big sale with no real discounts from the brands, as I see it. Hope, we will get better.

Perfect day at the beach/ MALLORCA

If you read my previous post I said that my time in Palma de Mallorca was just peaceful and totally relaxing time before my very intense year of studying. Here I'm sharing with you where should you go to have the best time at the beach.
Mallorca is a bit different from other places where i've been. Speaking about beaches, on this island they have them pretty much everywhere around Mallorca except the area of the capital. So, if you are staying in Palma de Mallorca (where all shops are) you have a choice to go to the nearest tourist areas for a good swim. There are 2 closest - "German"and "English". I call them this way because once you are in that area every writings and everything is in german (or english). I guess it worked out historically somehow this way because germans prefer to stay in the east and english-speakers in the west part from the capital. Anyway, I found it a little bit weird, such national separation.
Even though I dislike german language (almost hate), their touristic arena is much better than another one.
So, I rested at the beach, had a good meal after all, and FINALLY, got to ride a jetski))) i love it.

EXPLORE MALLORCA

    HI, everyone!
I keep reporting about my recent travelings. And here I wanna share my experience in Palma de Mallorca.
To be completely honest, I've got to say that there is almost nothing interesting to see in Mallorca. Maybe I have this strong opinion because I went to Spanish Islands right after my trip to Miami. So, I maybe was a liiitle bit overwhelmed by United States and couldn't appreciate ordinarily nice and comfort mediterranean rest. Really, if you want to go party you'd better go to Ibiza, that is Non-stop partying place.
   Preparing myself to a long-long senior year, I still had a good time just doing probably two my favorite summer things - tanning/swimming and shopping) Take a look at the photographs =>>

ORLANDO WEEKEND

I need to admit - I'm so bad at timing. I was suppose to upload all my summer posts I've already done a few weeks ago. My vacations were so great and busy that I've decided to do everything right after I get back home, but that was obviously my classic-procrastination stupid idea. I'm sorry for that)

Nevertheless, I'm still eager to share this summer experience with you guys and maintain a little bit the good moments of summer. And I have something else to tell about my time in Miami)

GO GATOR!

I keep reporting some cool trips I've done while chilling in Miami Beach. And in his post I wanted to share my visit to The Gator Park of Florida. Here's little story from me)




So, the trip consisted of a boat ride though the "crocodile lakes", a little alligator show and a photo shoot with the predators. It was extremely hot that day and a water ride was a fresh relief. The feeling of riding the boat was I think just like in the movie Fast and Furious cars rides but on water. While going on boat we were suppose to see an actual gator, but it didnt happen (not a big surprise for me). But it still was cool though) Our guide showed us some water plant and insects AND he actually picked some kind of a warm and ate it!! it was horrifying and disgusting! whaaat?! )     CLICK HERE! 

VMA's TOP 3 Performances

So, this is the second part of my VMA's article - TOP 3 Performances.

      I wanted to talk really briefly about performances on VMA's this year because some of the artists impressed me deeply. And here they are - Lady Gaga, who opened the show, Justin Timberlake, of course, the triumpher of the event, and Miley Cyrus. Well, who said its gonna be the Top 3 Best performances?!

      To begin with Lady Gaga's newest hit was the best choice MTV could make, I think. She's absolutely gorgeous on stage!!! Actually, I've seen her live at the concert on 12/12/12 in Moscow with the Monsters Ball Tour and I did see what an amazing artist she is myself. I mean, the VMA's appearance was just in the best traditional way of her performances: singing, dancing and speed clothes changing at the same time. She doesn't even bother going on without any wig on or in an almost "nude costume". We have to admit she's in a good shape now) Best. And, obviously, I love the song)        READ MORE!

BREAKING NEW: VMA 2013!

The MTV's big event Video Music Awards 2013 happened over the weekend in Brooklyn! Have you guys seen it? Actually, this is the first awards ceremony that I watched from pre-show till the end, so I want to talk a little bit about Fashion part and do a small review of the great Performances at the VMA's :)

Let's start with Fashion. 

It seems like ex-Disney girls are taking over the show business. In this case I mean beautiful as usual Selena Gomez (her bff Taylor Swift is always here at any event so...) and "I couldn't care less"-girl Miley Cyrus. 

My comment (Mc): Speaking about Selena and Taylor - I liked the dresses and they obviously suit them and it looks good. But why are they trying so hard to look older than they actually are?! Selena went with Versace pretty much classic dress but with very edgy open part, I find that sophisticated. As about Taylor, my mum said that she looked like an aged Hollywood actress with a good plastic surgery on her face. Maybe because of too much make up she reminds me Nicole Kidman look on the red carpet at the VMA's. And the last is Miley... If some of her fans are reading this, please excuse me, but I think she's gone absolutely crazy, broke all rules of propriety etc etc, even though she's still gaining popularity! what's wrong with you, people?! How can you like this? . Wearing some strange tights with crop-top and gypsy-grandma's jewelry over the body is just Weird, not mentioning the hairstyle!     READ MORE

Katy Perry / Lady Gaga / Rita Ora

Mc: Well, no one can be judged by his love to leo print) Although, I think that neck covered dresses seem already old-fashioned.                           Gaga, rock on as usual! Personally, I cant figure out what hair color Lady Gaga really has? I mean during this particular event she changed like 4 different hairstyles. Despite that this black one looks pretty natural.                                           Rita Ora - the girl that I call "blonde hair, dark brows") The dress is gorgeous, even though I find it a little bit too much. Maybe for the Oscars it will be more appropriate, not really Brooklyn style, isnt it? 

The next group of women dressed for VMA's I called "Ï didn't have enough good fabric to make a complete dress" which are Iggy Azalea / Erin Wasson / Ciara (from left to right)

Mc: I mean, you can't really say that they look ugly. No. It's just feels odd a little bit. Was it that hot in NYC that day? I dont think so. The first and the third dresses are kind of similar but Iggy's (#1) body shape isn't good enough for absolutely nude outfit. And the silhouette feels like the couturier didn't have enough fabrics to complete the sleeves.  Dress #3 show off all Ciara's good forms and it's done definitely better than the first one. #2 - are you starring in another 5th Element movie?? Or did you want to look better than Lady's Gaga bikini costume? Anyway, Erin Wasson looks like an alien for me.

And, to end it up, I made a group of celebrity guests called "Cool kids"which are Willow and Jaden Smith / Becky G /    Ariana Grande                      Just a few words about each of them. 

Mc: #1. You can how cool these kids feel themselves on the red carpet. Such a benefit to be in very famous family in Hollywood. 

#2. At first, Did she mix up the Nickelodeon party or something? - was my first impression of this girl. I'm sure she's very honored to be among those huge stars at the VMA's

#3 My favorite sweet young lady - Ariana Grande. You cant deny for great voice but seriously I cant give her 20 years old! Sometimes she's even too sweet but she doesn't try to turn into a super fashion and sexy chica she's not changing just one pretty floral dress to another pretty sparkly one)

I'M in MIAMI BEACH!

   Hi, everyone! I'd like to share some great news with you, guys) First of all, Ive decided to change the language of my blog to english because obviously more users are able to read my small yet blog in english than in russian) And secondly, I finally had my FIRST EVER trip to USA! I feel really sorry that I couldn't upload everything as it went because seriously I didnt have time living kind of a student-partying life this month. But now I'm very glad to tell you every interesting moment of my amazing time in MIAMI BEACH)

    So, shall we start with a little Welcome to South Beach, Miami, Florida.

    This summer  I chose a trip to Miami to International School of English with EF in order to improve my english and, of course, to enjoy the beautiful weather and the ocean of this southern city of  the state of Florida. I had an 11 hours flight straight Moscow-Miami and was so excited to get the journey started. Check out the view I had from the plane) ==>>
Thanks God, i didnt have any! layovers to get there, otherwise it'd be so exhausting. So, when I arrived I didnt feel jet lagged or something, even though the time difference for me is +8 hours to russian timing.

  For me everything seemed so different from where I have been before. But since it was my first visit to America, I started to get used to things very fast)




















     Exploring new is always so entertaining! So I stopped comparing things to usual and enjoyed all that came along.  Anyway, I need to say that most of thing including the way of naming streets, stores, supermarkets, timing, cars , etc is pretty alike my surrounding. And I like it!

   A little bit about the place I stayed at for my 3 weeks in Miami.
I lived at the EF campus which is not far from 2 most popular streets there: the Ocean Driva and Lincol Road. At last I understood the meaning of the word "block":) We lived 7 blocks away from the center streets. At school I had 3 classes a day and then access to every place wanted in the whole Greater Miami and not to mention the school pool and a great beach.

COLOR BLOCKING

This summer I happened to be two whole months in Moscow and not going anywhere near sea. What can be worse, I thought! I felt bored and didnt know what fun to do. You, who is reading this, probably may know that horrible feeling when almost all your friends are gone for vacation but not you yet. The idea of staying in the city firstly appeared desperate for me. But then I remembered that in summer the city is changing its colors to a brand new bright ones. So, I figured I can cheer myself up a little bit by making this colorful and fun photo shoot.
